WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO.

1. our understanding of the love of God

To know Him is to Love him. To love Him is to Serve Him. To serve Him is to Live for Him.
John 3:16
There are 2 sides of this.
1. He loved us. He gave us Heavens best. As a result of his love, we also are propelled to love him.

2 Cor 5:14-15
We are compelled by the Love of God.

1 John 4:19. We love him because he first loved us.

Just think about the reality of the Passion of the Christ movie. What Jesus went through.
That love complels us.
What is it that is too much for us to do for him or to give?
He first loved us.
Galatians 2:20.
Passion begets passion.
Understanding what Jesus did for us compels.

2. Our understanding of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

He sent us with the same message of love.
John 20:21
You are sent just like God sent Jesus.
The mission is about doing good. Acts 10:38.
God sent us also to do good.
Our church services are about doing good.
ROR distribution around the world is about doing good.
That's what the gospel is about.

Mark 16:15. He sent us to preach the gospel to every man's world.
We are those who have believed because of the message the apostles received.
2 Peter 3:9- This is God's heart and his mind. What God takes as important, we must take it as important.
That's why we have the 6bn mandate.
Even though there are other churches or ministries, as far as we are concerned, we are the only ones doing the work.
Don't look at who is doing what. Focus on the assignment the master gave as though no one else is doing it.
That's the reason why we pray.
Before Revelation there must be isolation.

The gospel cannot be preached by angels.
Jesus didn't come because we are many...but because we are valuable.
(Acts 9- The story of Saul of Tarsus. God sent Aniais to open Saul's eyes and give him the message). How come it was not an angel that was sent to preach to Cornelius?

We can't afford to leave this for someone who may just not be doing it.

Isaiah 62:1,6-7
Until this kingdom is known by every man, we are not resting.

This is war!
If you are not helping, you are making matters worse. No neutral ground.

Ezekiel 33:1-9
Be interested in not only your catchment, but the regions beyond. Touch lives everywhere. You are without limits. You are a part of the global vision.

3. Our understanding of our purpose for being 

We do what we do because He called us and this is our reason for being. 
What else is worth living for??


4. Our understanding of the time.

Understand the urgency. The assignment is very urgent 

5. Our understanding of Loveworld exceptionalism.

You must understand that you belong to *the Pastor Chris Generation*

Attributes of this generation.
1. We are full of the Holy Ghost. 
We get filled and stay there permanently filled 
2. We are full of the word. 
We take the word seriously, because that is our life. 
Things that have stood in our ministry:  the Holy ghost, our Pastor, the message. 

3. Unquenchable love for the master. 
4. We are passionate for the gospel. Militant and activist. We are unapologetic about it..
5. We don't take No for an answer. We are bold and courageous 
6. We are pacesetters. We lead while others follow. 
7. We are loaded. We call the shots. We are the sed of Abraham and joint heirs with Christ. 
Psalm 23. 1,5

The deep state and deep church will keep looking at our progress whether they like it or not.

GLOBAL DAY OF PRAYER Rev Chris Oyakhilome Dsc DD How to pray: 1. Pray for all men declaring that this is the day of salvation and grace 2 Cor 6:1-2, 2 Cor 4:4. Acts 26:18 We have to break the power of Satan off of their minds. So those who have difficulty believing can believe. 2.  Pray that the Lord of the Harvest will send forth labourers into the harvest fields of leaders of nations and governments. Luke 10:1-2. They are in contact with people all the time so God has to guide somebody to bring the gospel to them. 3. Pray that the Lordlord will change the mind of leaders from foolishness and deception to truth. This is so important.  Proverbs 21:1 Most times we want to pray OUT certain government or leader and pray IN someone else. God doesn't want us to do that  Think how many times you have been disappointed through the years from someone whom you favored.  A lot of times, they turned out to be anti God or anti Christ. They were against the things you were for in righteousness....
