IMPLEMENTING THE CARE SYSTEM OF THE CELL MINISTRY FOR GROWTH AND DISCIPLESHIP.
John 13:35
Jesus put the identifying factor for his disciples.
In the cell system, there's a responsibility of care directed by the cell leader.
Jesus said this is what defines is as disciples - our love for one another.
How we are able to show care to everyone is a definition of our discipleship of Jesus. There should be a solvent oversight on each member of the cell.
A child that is born into a home is the responsibility of everyone. It's the same thing in the cell system. It's not enough to pray for members to come. They'll only stay if they see that we care for them. They'll only stay if where they come to us beneficial to them. Love moves them to participate. Our only responsibility to them is care and concern. The cell can only grow if the members come and they stay. It must come across to every cell leader that you care for them. Any group that can be sustained can be sustained by love. We serve Jesus because He loves us. Love is a controlling force. Love is a compelling force. The most compelling force in this world is the force of love. Love gets you to do things. How much you love someone and show concern determines how you pray for that person. Paul said the love of Christ constrains us. We are ready to hurt our lives for Him because He loves us. The expression of love is in care. There's something love gets you to do. Compassion stirs the anointing. When you pray for your members out of care, it comes out differently.
7 ways to show care for our members;
1. Prayer: Love is value. When you pray for them it's a mark of your care for them. Paul prayed for the people he had won. Prayer is a mark of love. Prayers that are bother out of love stir the anointing within you.
2. Visitation: Acts 15:36 (KJV and AMPC). VISITATION is very important and should be planned for. When a cell is involved in soul winning, people come but when a cell is involved in visitation, people stay. Have a visitation schedule. You cannot avoid visitation as a cell leader.
3. Celebration: Make an occasion of the occasion of all your cell members. Make an occasion of their birthdays and important dates to them. This is important. They can only stay if they feel loved, called and projected. This must be something that is continually advancing. The essence of a home is to raise somebody in a culture. The ministry of a cell leader alone cannot mature the brethren. Get involved in getting your members to come to church.
4. Assistance: They need the word of God, but they may need to be assisted maybe financially or otherwise but you must try to make that assistance available for them anyway you can.
If you do these, your cell will become vibrant.
