▶️ LET’S TALK
When you study the Bible, you’d observe the different strategies God used to deliver His people from harm and also help them to great victories. In the opening verse above, for instance, you’d notice a particular strategy given to the Israelites by the Spirit of God. There was a time the plan was for Moses to lift his hands up, and by doing so, they defeated the Amalekites. However, this time around with Jericho, God wanted the Israelites to adopt the “shout” strategy.

God instructed Israel to go around Jericho once every day for seven days, and on the seventh day, to go around the city seven times, and on the seventh time, to give a great shout, and the city walls would fall down flat! Amazing, right? There’re times that all God wants is for you to just sing and shout His praise. Such times are not times to cast out devils; although, as you praise Him, the forces of darkness will retreat and circumstances will begin to align in your favour.

Praise is a weapon! Psalm 149:6 says, “Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand.” Remember when Paul and Silas were locked up in the dungeon (Acts 16)? They were in a terribly desperate situation, and could have been moaning and blaming God for “forsaking” them. Thankfully, they spent the time praying and praising God. As they praised and sang to the Lord, a mighty earthquake shook all the prison doors open, and all the prisoners’ chains were broken! Hallelujah!

It doesn’t matter how difficult the challenges might look; don’t give up! Don’t call a pity-party; adopt the praise-strategy instead. Rather than feeling forlorn, praise God profusely from your spirit, not in anticipation of victory but in victory. Praise Him, knowing that He always causes us to triumph in Christ, and makes manifest the savour of His knowledge by us in every place (2 Corinthians 2:14). Praise God!

They are well-schooled and vastly-knowledgeable, yet true success eludes them. This is because they function from the mind, the sense-realm, which, even at its best, is still greatly limited. The mind is never enough; true success is by the Spirit. The world may describe you as a “super brain” or a genius; it makes no difference. The wisdom of this world profits nothing. Success isn‘t by might or by power, but by the Spirit of God. If you’ve been trying to su...

GLOBAL DAY OF PRAYER

GLOBAL DAY OF PRAYER Rev Chris Oyakhilome Dsc DD How to pray: 1. Pray for all men declaring that this is the day of salvation and grace 2 Cor 6:1-2, 2 Cor 4:4. Acts 26:18 We have to break the power of Satan off of their minds. So those who have difficulty believing can believe. 2.  Pray that the Lord of the Harvest will send forth labourers into the harvest fields of leaders of nations and governments. Luke 10:1-2. They are in contact with people all the time so God has to guide somebody to bring the gospel to them. 3. Pray that the Lordlord will change the mind of leaders from foolishness and deception to truth. This is so important.  Proverbs 21:1 Most times we want to pray OUT certain government or leader and pray IN someone else. God doesn't want us to do that  Think how many times you have been disappointed through the years from someone whom you favored.  A lot of times, they turned out to be anti God or anti Christ. They were against the things you were for in righteousness....
RHAPSODY OF REALITIES SATURDAY 11TH SEPTEMBER 2021   THEME: MAKING A LASTING IMPACT    ðŸ‘¤ Pastor Chris                                                                                Scripture: Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with energy: who went about doing good, and therapeutic all that had been oppressed of the satan; for God was with him. THE MESSAGE It’s not how lengthy you reside; it’s the influence you make that issues, and Jesus was a typical instance of that. He didn’t have an extended life on earth, however He impacted the world tremendously. Luke three:23 NLT says, “Jesus was about thirty years outdated when he started his public ministry….” At thirty-three, He was crucified. He ministered for simply three years and altered the entire world. All through historical past, no single particular person has made or might ever make the form of influence on the entire world as Jesus. Even the world’s relationship system—forwards and backwards—is...
