THEME: HUMILITY PROMOTES
(God Promotes The Humble)”

TO THE BIBLE 📖: 1 Peter 5:6

“Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.”

LET'S TALK
Have you ever truly considered the fact that Jesus died for you personally? If you were the only one on the face of the earth, Jesus would still made a decision many years ago to be a humble person. The only way I could be humble was by letting the Word of God show me what it is to be humble, studying about humility in the Word of God, and acting accordingly. Humility is yielding yourself to the Lordship of the Word of God; it doesn’t mean you’re weak or humiliated. When you’re humble, nothing, and no one, can humiliate you

It’s like that old hymn by John Bunyan: “He that is down needs fear no fall, He that is low, no pride; He that is humble ever shall have God to be his guide.”

This just means that you esteem others better than you, even though God is lifting you. When you find yourself in a position of authority, whether in the house of God, your school, or anywhere else, be humble. When you address others, choose your language carefully; use the right and most appropriate words. Don’t use proud language. As you consciously practise being humble, the Lord will continually promote you.

Never get to a point in your life where you relate to others with disdain; it’s a dangerous place to be because it means you’re arrogating extra honour to yourself. The Bible says in Romans 12:10, “Love each other as brothers and sisters and honor others more than you do yourself” (CEV). Philippians 2:3 also says, “Don’t be jealous or proud, but be humble and consider others more important than yourselves” (CEV). Never allow anything to make you exhibit pride.

Our opening verse says, “…Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.” Notice it says to humble yourself; don’t let God be the one to humble you, because that will be trouble for you. The Bible says He resists the proud and gives grace to the humble (1 Peter 5:5). Your humility can be tested in different ways.

Even when others are promoted before you, don’t be perturbed. Just remain humble, because there’s a due time for your promotion. If you want the Lord to keep advancing and exalting you in life, then being humble is the key.

GLOBAL DAY OF PRAYER

GLOBAL DAY OF PRAYER Rev Chris Oyakhilome Dsc DD How to pray: 1. Pray for all men declaring that this is the day of salvation and grace 2 Cor 6:1-2, 2 Cor 4:4. Acts 26:18 We have to break the power of Satan off of their minds. So those who have difficulty believing can believe. 2.  Pray that the Lord of the Harvest will send forth labourers into the harvest fields of leaders of nations and governments. Luke 10:1-2. They are in contact with people all the time so God has to guide somebody to bring the gospel to them. 3. Pray that the Lordlord will change the mind of leaders from foolishness and deception to truth. This is so important.  Proverbs 21:1 Most times we want to pray OUT certain government or leader and pray IN someone else. God doesn't want us to do that  Think how many times you have been disappointed through the years from someone whom you favored.  A lot of times, they turned out to be anti God or anti Christ. They were against the things you were for in righteousness....
RHAPSODY OF REALITIES SATURDAY 11TH SEPTEMBER 2021   THEME: MAKING A LASTING IMPACT    ðŸ‘¤ Pastor Chris                                                                                Scripture: Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with energy: who went about doing good, and therapeutic all that had been oppressed of the satan; for God was with him. THE MESSAGE It’s not how lengthy you reside; it’s the influence you make that issues, and Jesus was a typical instance of that. He didn’t have an extended life on earth, however He impacted the world tremendously. Luke three:23 NLT says, “Jesus was about thirty years outdated when he started his public ministry….” At thirty-three, He was crucified. He ministered for simply three years and altered the entire world. All through historical past, no single particular person has made or might ever make the form of influence on the entire world as Jesus. Even the world’s relationship system—forwards and backwards—is...

Kingsnation20online.blogspot.com * Rhapsody of Realities* Friday 27th August 2021 THEME: Walk and Stay in Truth 👤 Pastor Chris Scripture: 2 John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. The Word of God is truth; you can’t know the Word and be deceived or follow the wrong voice. 1 John 4:1 says, “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” Always, there’s a light in your spirit when you know the Word of God such that you’re not misled by false prophets, false teachers, and false brethren. One of the ways that many are easily misled is through wrong associations. If as a Christian, you start associating with certain individuals who aren’t supposed to be in your “aion” (your course of life)—individuals who have a doctrine or training that’s inconsistent with the teaching and truth of the Word—...
