THEME: HIS POWER AND HIS GLORY
(God’s Glory Is Greater Than His power)

👤 PASTOR CHRIS

TO THE BIBLE 📖 Luke 5:17
“Now it happened on a certain day, as He was teaching, that there were Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting by, who had come out of every town of Galilee, Judea, and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was present to heal them.”

LET'S TALK 🗣️
Oftentimes, the power of God is synonymously used in Scripture with the presence of God and the glory of God, but they don’t mean precisely the same thing. For example, when the Lord asked Moses to talk to the rock, God wanted His glory to be manifested. Moses, however, struck the rock. When he did, the power of God was manifested, but the glory of God wasn’t, and God reprimanded Moses; He said, “Moses, you didn’t glorify me before the people” (Numbers 20:11-12).

Though God’s power was manifested, and water came out of the rock, God’s glory wasn’t there because Moses acted in disobedience. God always wants us to manifest His power and His glory. The glory is greater than the power, because the glory includes God’s power, grace, and righteousness. The glory of God is the term that encapsulates all of His splendour and His righteousness. God manifests His righteousness in His glory.

For those who wonder, “Is it possible for the power of God to be manifested, and His presence and glory are not manifested?” The answer is yes, because His power is given to us to use. In 1 Corinthians 9:18, the Apostle Paul talked about not wanting to abuse his authority in the Gospel. Someone can misuse the power of God, but you can never misuse the glory of God. That’s where the difference is. And God always wants us to walk in His glory.

It’s like walking in the grace of God and not necessarily walking in the righteousness of God. One can walk and partake of His grace and be doing the wrong thing, but God isn’t going to be happy with that. He’d reprimand such a fellow and expect him or her to repent. To walk in God’s power and His glory, you have to walk in His grace and in His righteousness as well; they all go together.

Pray
Blessed Father, I thank you for your glory in my life, and the power of the Holy Spirit that’s working in, and through me! I experience your glory in increased measure as I walk in your grace and in righteousness today, and always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

They are well-schooled and vastly-knowledgeable, yet true success eludes them. This is because they function from the mind, the sense-realm, which, even at its best, is still greatly limited. The mind is never enough; true success is by the Spirit. The world may describe you as a “super brain” or a genius; it makes no difference. The wisdom of this world profits nothing. Success isn‘t by might or by power, but by the Spirit of God. If you’ve been trying to su...
RHAPSODY OF REALITIES SATURDAY 11TH SEPTEMBER 2021   THEME: MAKING A LASTING IMPACT    ðŸ‘¤ Pastor Chris                                                                                Scripture: Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with energy: who went about doing good, and therapeutic all that had been oppressed of the satan; for God was with him. THE MESSAGE It’s not how lengthy you reside; it’s the influence you make that issues, and Jesus was a typical instance of that. He didn’t have an extended life on earth, however He impacted the world tremendously. Luke three:23 NLT says, “Jesus was about thirty years outdated when he started his public ministry….” At thirty-three, He was crucified. He ministered for simply three years and altered the entire world. All through historical past, no single particular person has made or might ever make the form of influence on the entire world as Jesus. DAILY JUICE

Kingsnation20online.blogspot.com Daily Juice The only part of you that hurts when you're given the truth is the part that lives on lies. It doesn't matter the financial challenge you might be going through, it won't make God to tell you not to pay your tithe. Stop complaining, If you don't respond to God according to His blessings in your life, you may not experience that kind of miracle again in your life and you may not have consistent miracles like you want it. God has set down His principles and will, but they are set in motion by us.
