RHAPSODY OF REALITIES TEEVO

FRIDAY 17

THEME: DOUBLE-CHECK WITH GOD

👤 PASTOR CHRIS

TO THE BIBLE 📖: 1 John 4:1 MSG
“My dear friends, don’t believe everything you hear. Carefully weigh and examine what people tell you. Not everyone who talks about God comes from God. There are a lot of lying preachers loose in the world.”

LET'S TALK 🗣️
The Scripture in Romans 13:1 says, “Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.” Some people misunderstand this for a pass to follow instructions from any one with some form of authority. They’d say, “He’s a renowned leader; therefore, he must be speaking the truth,” but that’s not how it works.

Our opening verse means you don’t just run with or do whatever you’re told by just anybody; examine where that authority is coming from. It could be from Satan. So, you have to be careful. God can choose a leader, and the leader can still go against the will of God.

The Scripture is full of examples of people who went against God, even though they were chosen by God. For example, in 1 Samuel 15, Saul was going to war against Amalek and was instructed to destroy everything. He did as was asked, but he spared Agog the king, he also spared the sheep, oxen and everything else he thought was good.

What was God’s response? He said to Samuel the prophet, “I regret making Saul king, for he has turned back from following Me and has not performed My commands…” (1 Samuel 15:11 AMPC).

Just because you liked what someone of authority told you doesn’t mean it was from God. Always remember that God’s Word is the supreme authority by which we judge all things. Always weigh and double-check what you hear with the Word!

Pray
Dear Father, I consciously weigh every instruction against the truth of the Word, irrespective of who gives it. My steps are ordered by you, through the Word and your Spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Kingsnation20online.blogspot.com Daily Juice The only part of you that hurts when you're given the truth is the part that lives on lies. It doesn't matter the financial challenge you might be going through, it won't make God to tell you not to pay your tithe. Stop complaining, If you don't respond to God according to His blessings in your life, you may not experience that kind of miracle again in your life and you may not have consistent miracles like you want it. God has set down His principles and will, but they are set in motion by us.

They are well-schooled and vastly-knowledgeable, yet true success eludes them. This is because they function from the mind, the sense-realm, which, even at its best, is still greatly limited. The mind is never enough; true success is by the Spirit. The world may describe you as a “super brain” or a genius; it makes no difference. The wisdom of this world profits nothing. Success isn‘t by might or by power, but by the Spirit of God. If you’ve been trying to su...

Kingsnation20online.blogsot.com RHAPSODY OF REALITIES TEEVO MONDAY, 30TH AUGUST 2021 👤 PASTOR CHRIS THEME: HUMILITY PROMOTES (God Promotes The Humble)” TO THE BIBLE 📖: 1 Peter 5:6 “Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.” LET'S TALK Have you ever truly considered the fact that Jesus died for you personally? If you were the only one on the face of the earth, Jesus would still made a decision many years ago to be a humble person. The only way I could be humble was by letting the Word of God show me what it is to be humble, studying about humility in the Word of God, and acting accordingly. Humility is yielding yourself to the Lordship of the Word of God; it doesn’t mean you’re weak or humiliated. When you’re humble, nothing, and no one, can humiliate you It’s like that old hymn by John Bunyan: “He that is down needs fear no fall, He that is low, no pride; He that is humble ever shall have God to be his guide.” This just means t...
