And the power of the Lord was present to heal them.” LET'S TALK 🗣️ Oftentimes, the power of God is synonymously used in Scripture with the presence of God and the glory of God, but they don’t mean precisely the same thing. For example, when the Lord asked Moses to talk to the rock, God wanted His glory to be manifested. Moses, however, struck the rock. When he did, the power of God was manifested, but the glory of God wasn’t, and God reprimanded Moses; He said, “Moses, you didn’t glorify me before the people” (Numbers 20:11-12). THE MESSAGE One of the attributes of God is that He’s self-sufficient. He doesn’t need anything from anyone or anywhere. Everything is in Him. He doesn’t “need” power; He is power. He doesn’t “need” wisdom; He is wisdom. He doesn’t “need” righteousness; He is righteousness. He’s the self-existent and self-sufficient God. Did you know that’s the life He’s given you as well? Like Him, you don’t have to depend on external forces or factors. Everything you require to fulfil all that God wants you to do, and to be all that He created you to be is in you. Daily Juice Activity is not synonymous to progress and productivity. Simplify your life. Your daily routines are the deciding factors of your future. Too many people see too much, hear too much and consider too many things, and too many things easily get their attention. Their priorities have been wrongly placed and it is slowly eating them up. We must simplify our lives or we are going to lose terribly. You cannot go far if you are easily distracted by people and things that have nothing to do with your goal. No negative emotion is worth holding on to when you consider what it is doing to you. Countless people today are making themselves sick over thiyngs that don't count because they let things get to them. The only person who can make you act in an unloving way is you. THE MESSAGE There are some who see the Church as a Gentile nation that got some “second-class” salvation from God. Those who hold such erroneous beliefs about the Church don’t understand the mystery of the Church. The reason some people don’t understand the Gospel of Jesus Christ about the Church is that the Old Testament, which is what they hold on to, doesn’t explain the revelation of the Church. It was a mystery; it wasn’t revealed to the Old Testament prophets. So, the experts in Judaism don’t know anything about the Church, even though the prophets testified of salvation of Gentiles. There’s no doubt that as Christians, we’re mightily graced of God; He’s lavished His grace upon us in superabundance. An important question to therefore ask would be, how far can we go with this grace? How much more can we explore this grace? Our theme verse admonishes us to “be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.” To be strong in the grace of God is to walk in the fullness of His grace. In Acts 3, the Bible gives us a perfect example of how we can use the grace of God and produce supernatural results. THE MESSAGE The term “glass” in the scripture above is the Greek “katoptrizomai,” and it means to mirror oneself. The New International Version says, “And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” It’s talking about the mirror of God, which is the Word of God. THE MESSAGE In your life, don’t be too quick to find fault with others. Don’t give in to the urge to condemn. The Bible says the Lord Jesus has been “…ordained by God to be Judge of the living and the dead” (Acts 10:42 NKJV). He alone is the true Judge, and He’s rich in mercy. There may be some people around you, perhaps, even in your local church that may not be living right; don’t judge them. Instead, be the light that wins them over.
